For those who are out today, we wish you all the best of luck to the start of the game shooting season. This is a culmination of a huge amount of effort and investment put in by landowners and gamekeepers and a sustainable shootable surplus is the end result. We are looking forward to seeing grouse back on the menu in many places up and down the country!

For those who do not have that sustainable surplus this year, this has not minimised the investment already put in and there has still been a significant amount invested in terms of time and money in the moorland which has benefited a massive number of red and amber listed species and that hard work should not go unnoticed.
